AquaSource Bulgaria is a proven leader in the distribution of nutritional products and natural beauty products and cosmetics. The company reaches its customers through a network of independent distributors. 

The challenge

To service a network of thousands distributors (persons and companies) requires keeping a very strict schedule about the activities of everyday order processing as well as forwarding of the ordered goods to every distributor. All of these are supported by an interface for communication with the forwarding companies, automation of the calculation and payment of the commissions, along with calculation of all the taxes and insurances and generating files for banks, National Revenue Agency, National Social Security Institute.

The solution

The solution is Maconomy as ERP system for AquaSource. The system covers the requirements for management of sales, warehouse, finances and accounting. There are some additional applications that are developed for the process of communication with the forwarding companies, as well as for printing of bills of lading. The process of communication with the headquarters in UK is automated and gives information about the sold products by distributors. An additional module  to Maconomy was developed in order to calculate the taxes and insurances of each distributor according to the local regualtions, etc.

The results

Although the team of AquaSource is relatively small - due to the company internal coordination  and with the help of Maconomy and FTS, they succeed to maintain accurately their distribution network. Activities like calculation and payment of comissions to thousands of distributors are handled within half a working day.  The exchange of documents with distributors, banks, and state administration is processed in electronic way, which saves time and costs and increases the control.
